Deepest red-black in color. Subtle tthrough intense flavours, evoking cherry, blackberry, raspberry, elderberry, banana, and cocoa, but also notes of spice such as pepper. Aging in casks known as barriques adds another dimension, its acidity is lively and well balanced, oozing Mediterranean warmth and charm.
Since Roman times, the extremely steep terraces on the Neckar can only be reached on foot and tended by hand. Many generations have marked out this unique vineyard by producing a wine of character from a noble variety, the Lemberger grape.
