From September 16 to 21, 26 adventurers from the RS CLUB, our club dedicated to Porsche enthusiasts, set off to explore the roads of Germany and Austria at the wheel of their Porsche.

During their journey our adventurers had the chance to stop at the Restaurant / Café F.A.T. Mankei.

Located at the top of the Grossglockner Alpine Road, the highest mountain in Austria, this project dedicated to automobile, architecture and design enthusiasts came straight from the imagination of Ferdinand Porsche, the grandson of founder of the Porsche company.

"My grandfather used to test cars to make sure they weren't overheating, among other things, by driving them from Gmünd to the Glockner Pass, right outside the front door", explains Ferdinand.

"It was during one of these tests that he discovered Zell-am-See. My uncle (Ferdinand Alexander Porsche) set up his studio there, Porsche Design, and the Grossglockner is the red line that connects the two places."

Du 16 au 21 septembre, 26 aventuriers du RS CLUB, notre club dédié aux passionnés de Porsche, sont partis à la découverte des routes d’Allemagne et d'Autriche au volant de leur Porsche.

Lors de leur périple nos aventuriers ont eu la chance de faire une halte au Restaurant / Café F.A.T. Mankei.

Situé au sommet de la route alpine du Grossglockner, la plus haute montagne d'Autriche, ce projet dédié aux amateurs d'automobile, d’architecture et de design est sorti tout droit de l'imagination de Ferdinand Porsche, le petit-fils du fondateur de la société Porsche.

"Mon grand-père avait pour habitude de tester les voitures pour vérifier qu’elles ne surchauffaient pas, entre autres, en les conduisant de Gmünd jusqu’au col de Glockner, juste devant la porte d’entrée", explique Ferdinand.

"C'est au cours de l'un de ces tests qu'il a découvert Zell-am-See. Mon oncle (Ferdinand Alexander Porsche) y a installé son studio, Porsche Design, et le Grossglockner est la ligne rouge qui relie les deux endroits."

For the official inauguration of the Snoezelen room that our association was able to co-finance thanks to the generosity of Mr. Bertrand VIEN and his RS ACTION foundation, there were no long speeches, there was a beautiful human encounter.

Pour l’inauguration officielle de la salle Snoezelen que notre association a pu cofinancer grâce à la générosité de M.Bertrand VIEN et de sa fondation RS ACTION, il n’y a pas eu de longs discours, il y a eu une belle rencontre humaine.

RS Action and our restaurant Le Florio welcomed suffering children from the Minjoz hospital in Besançon.
RS Action et notre restaurant Le Florio ont accueilli des enfants en souffrance de l’hôpital Minjoz de Besançon.

After being welcomed into the RS Selection showroom, the children had the chance to make the starter and their dessert thanks to the wise advice of the Floriot restaurant team. Many friends of RS came to meet them with their beautiful cars.

After a friendly lunch together, they went to visit the Château de Champlitte. We thank all the generous visitors who came with enthusiasm as well as all the donors who allow RS actions to continue to help children in need.

Après avoir été accueilli dans le Showroom RS Selection, les enfants ont eu la chance de pouvoir confectionner leur entrée et leur dessert grâce aux conseils avisés de l’équipe du restaurant le Florio. De nombreux amis de RS sont venus à leur rencontre avec leurs belles voitures.

Après un déjeuner convivial tous ensemble, ils sont partis visiter le château de Champlitte. Nous remercions tous les généreux visiteurs qui sont venus avec enthousiasme ainsi que tous les donateurs qui permettent à RS Action de continuer à aider les enfants qui en ont besoin.
