The BMW i5 M60 xDrive is the highest-performing, all-electric variant of the new 5 Series, positioned at the top of the i5 range with all-wheel drive and a dual-motor electric powertrain. Developed on the G60/G61 platform, it combines a battery pack with approximately 81 kWh of usable capacity and a front and rear motor assembly to deliver a maximum output of around 601 hp and 795 Nm of torque, all with zero local emissions. BMW announces a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h, placing the i5 M60 on par with the performance of previous combustion-engine M sedans, but with the smoothness of a single-speed transmission. The design incorporates the hallmarks of the latest BMWs: a large kidney grille with vertical slats, slim headlights, taut lines, and the optional BMW Iconic Glow lighting signature, all while maintaining the proportions of a large executive sedan.

The Minichamps 1/43 scale model reproduces the BMW i5 / i5 M60 2024 in Phytonic Blue Metallic, featuring a three-box sedan body with elongated proportions: a long hood, a taut roofline, and a slightly sloping rear. The side surfaces are defined by a body crease that extends from the front fenders to the rear, complemented by a subtly sculpted lower body that adds depth to the profile.
At the front, the double-kidney grille is represented by a distinct surround and internal inserts, framed by slim headlights, while the bumper incorporates air intakes and sculpted cutouts, molded as a single piece with the lower part of the front fascia. At the rear, the horizontal taillights are separated into two blocks, with a finely tampo-printed design, and a rear bumper that extends the horizontal lines of the trunk lid.
The blue paintwork features a uniform metallic sheen across the entire body, including the pillars and mirror caps, which highlights the hood and roof edges. The wheels are reproduced with a multi-spoke design and black, smooth-sided tires, fitted to the wheel arches. Through the clear windows, a dark-colored interior is visible, depicting the dashboard, center console, and front and rear seats, without the addition of contrasting colors.
