A Porsche 356 made in the GDR !
Nothing could have stop the Reimann brothers and the carbodybuilder Lindner from Dresden. In a city undergoing reconstruction after the Allied bombings of 1945, and despite a very unfavorable political context, they manage to transform a dilapidated Kübelwagen into a very beautiful replica of the Porsche 356. They will even manage to cross the border to present it to Ferdinand Porsche, which will offer them both material and friendly support. After which a dozen copies will be produced and sold, one of which was fully restored in 2016.
