The Genesis GMR-001 is a Hypercar-class prototype built to LMDh regulations. Its official specifications feature a 3.2-liter twin-turbocharged Genesis G8MR V8 engine, rear-wheel drive, a seven-speed sequential gearbox, and a mandated hybrid system. It produces up to 680 hp, has a minimum weight of 1,030 kg, and runs on 18-inch Michelin tires.
Genesis Magma Racing entered the No. 17 and No. 19 GMR-001 cars for its inaugural 2026 FIA WEC season. The program’s goal is to establish the brand in global endurance racing and prepare for its expansion into the GTP class of the North American IMSA championship.
The n° 19 at Le Mans:
The No. 19 car made a lasting impression with its debut at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans—Genesis’s first appearance in the event. Starting with a strategy deliberately focused on consistency and reliability rather than raw speed, it completed 372 laps and finished 13th overall.
This result is significant for a new manufacturer: finishing Le Mans on the first attempt validates the car's mechanical endurance, team coordination, and race procedures over a 24-hour event. It also lends special significance to the No. 19 version, elevating it beyond a mere launch livery.

The 1:43 scale Spark model (ref. SP839) replicates the Genesis Magma Racing GMR-001 No. 19 entered in the 2026 FIA WEC. This LMDh Hypercar is driven by Mathieu Jaminet, Paul-Loup Chatin, and Daniel Juncadella—the Korean brand's second official driver lineup for its debut World Endurance Championship season.
It features the black and "Magma" orange livery, with patterns inspired by Genesis's Korean identity, alongside race number 19, WEC markings, and the GMR-001's radical silhouette. While the car itself and the livery are identical to the Spark SP838 No. 17, the SP839 specifically identifies the Jaminet–Chatin–Juncadella driver lineup.
