KEITH HARING
A major artist in the New York street art scene of the 1980s, Keith Haring drew inspiration from popular culture, punk, hip-hop and Disney cartoons.
Known for his anti-conservative positions on AIDS and apartheid, he also campaigned for a wider dissemination of art in museums and to the general public.
Thus, since 1986 products such as T-shirts and novelty items signed Keith Haring were accessible to all in the famous Pop Shop in New York, then in other shops.
