My name is Warren Edwards and I am a motoring, and in particular Porsche, enthusiast based in Adelaide, South Australia. I’m also an automotive photographer and have had several exhibitions here in Adelaide. I'm 57 year old and work in IT.

I became involved in the motoring industry at an early age as my mother was the company secretary at a local car auction form and I spent my school holidays working there cleaning cars and driving them through the auction.I even worked at the very first Adelaide Grand Prix classic car auction.

I attended my first Porsche event in 1998 in Melbourne for the 50th Anniversary celebrations and purchased my first Porsche, a 1960 356 coupe, in 2001. My current 1:1 scale stable includes a 1962 Porsche 356 cabriolet, a 1998 Porsche 996 cabriolet and a 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTi.

I’ve been collecting model cars since my first car event in 1998 and first discovered RS Selection during the Covid-19 lockdowns. My model collection is in 3 main parts. These are based around the 1:18 Porsche LeMans winners (I have 16 of the 19 winners so far), Martini sponsored Porsche cars, and the evolution of Porsche pre-1970. Of course there’s lots more and the collection currently sits at about 400 models and is constantly growing. My office is mainly 1:18 scale with about 80 models on the shelves whereas the overflow cabinet, in the garage with the 356, is a mix of 1:18 and 1:43 with a few others.

I'm always looking to fill in the gaps and looking for new releases as well as chasing models that I may have missed.

Kind regards, Warren Edwards
