The 1955 BMW Isetta is one of the most iconic microcars in history, having saved BMW from bankruptcy in the post-war period. With its unique front-mounted door housing the steering column and its small single-cylinder engine derived from the motorcycle division, it offered an urban mobility solution that was as ingenious as it was daring.
