The Ferrari 296 LMGT3 is the GT3 version of the 296 GTB, which competes in endurance racing. Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with a displacement of 2,992 cc (without hybridization in GT3), it develops approximately 600 hp according to the Balance of Performance (BoP). It was designed to meet the requirements of the new LMGT3 category in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, starting in 2024. At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, the #21 Vista AF Corse Ferrari 296 LMGT3, driven by Alessio Rovera, François Hériau, and Simon Mann, secured second place in the LMGT3 category, behind the Porsche 911 GT3 R Manthey. This confirmed the competitiveness of the 296 LMGT3 and gave Ferrari another class podium finish at Le Mans.
