An absolute icon of Group A, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V dominated the World Rally Championship in the late 1980s, securing six consecutive manufacturers' titles for Lancia between 1987 and 1992. At the 1990 Monte Carlo Rally, the Delta 16V triumphed with Didier Auriol and Bernard Occelli at the wheel, confirming Lancia's dominance on the Principality's mixed asphalt/snow roads and cementing the Delta's status as one of the greatest legends of the WRC.
