The Peugeot 309 GTI entered in the 1990 Monte Carlo Rally was a two-wheel-drive Group A version derived from the sporty 309 GTI 16-valve hatchback and modified for rallying (reinforced suspension, safety features, roll cage, etc.). It competed against state-of-the-art four-wheel-drive machines (such as the Lancia Delta Integrale, Toyota Celica, and Mazda 323 4WD), making Delecour’s performance on such a treacherous course particularly remarkable.
François Delecour, then a promising young French talent, achieved a standout result at the 1990 Monte Carlo Rally with this Peugeot 309: 9th overall and a class victory (A6/7/Group A two-wheel drive). This success helped propel him to a factory Ford seat in 1991. He would go on to become one of the most prominent French drivers in the World Championship, securing multiple WRC victories and, later, a win at the 1994 Monte Carlo Rally in a Ford Escort RS Cosworth.

The "Concessionnaires Peugeot France" livery is accurately reproduced, featuring the white base, Peugeot/Talbot stripes and logos, sponsor branding, and the number 20 on the doors and hood.
Rally-specific details are clearly visible: auxiliary driving lights, a roll cage visible through the windows, antennas, air intakes, and small technical markings on the fenders and trunk. As is often the case with Spark, the resin bodywork and add-on parts (side mirrors, windshield wipers, wheels) offer a refined, realistic finish that highlights this 309 GTI—an iconic car from Delecour’s early days at the Monte Carlo Rally.
