The No. 23 Porsche 917K from the Porsche Konstruktionen Salzburg team went down in history by winning the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans. In torrential rain, the German-British duo of Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood mastered the 580 horsepower of the Flat-12 engine to secure the Stuttgart-based marque’s first ever overall victory, paving the way for a historic run of wins.
Produced in 1/18 scale by Werk83 (ref. W1802601), this replica perfectly captures the lines of the ‘Kurzheck’ (short tail) version. Its famous red livery with white stripes, the cockpit details, the streamlined headlight units and the period-correct wheels are all reproduced with great care, making this model an absolute must-have for any collector of Le Mans history.
