In line with the historic liveries offered by Porsche since 2018 - Pink Pig, Rothmans, Le Mans 1998, Brumos, the two 911 RSRs were presented with the Coca-Cola colors for the 2019 final of the IMSA championship at Petit Le Mans, on the Atlanta, Georgia roadtrack.
Petit Le Mans is a home race for Coca-Cola since its headquarters are in Atlanta, but also for Porsche North America since its headquarters are also based in the American metropolis. The collaboration between Porsche and Coca-Cola in the USA dates back to the 80s with the 935 then the 962 of Bob Akin Motor Racing, and significant victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12h of Sebring.
Winner of the Road Atlanta edition the previous year, the 24 hours of Le Mans 2018 and the 12 hours of Sebring 2019, Porsche devotes most of the race to securing its triple championship title - constructors, teams and drivers, giving thus the opportunity for its many fans to admire for a few hours the livery as shiny as exclusive of its cars.
