Presented at Goodwood in July 2017, the GT2 RS quickly made the powder talk. As early as September, it broke the lap record for a production car at the Nürburgring on the Nordschleife.
Without any assistance, with only 2-wheel drive and 700 horsepower, it left its rivals far behind, including the prestigious 918 spyder and its advanced technology. It must be said that it is a particularly sharp car, to the point that its two drivers, Nick Tandy and Lars Kern, have lined up explosive chronos throughout the whole day.
Thanks to the hard work of the development team at Porsche, the 911 GT2 RS has become not only the most powerful 911 ever proposed, but also the fastest: the record was set by Lars Kern during a lap at an average speed of 184.11 km/h, on a fully-standard car!
