Considered the first real Porsche, the Porsche type 64 (real name 60K10: for 10th design for the type 60) was scheduled to compete in the Berlin-Rome race in 1939. Its aerodynamics was outstanding. For example, the wheels are covered with body panels.

The weight is only 850 kg thanks to the aluminum body and the plastic windows. The miniature reproduces the 3rd and last chassis. It is recognizable by its 2 wipers attached to the bottom of the windshield and its radiator grille housing the oil radiator.

This specimen was used by the Porsche family. It is the only one who survived the war. It was sold to Otto Mathé who will use it in competition from 1949 until his death in 1995, continuing to make regular technical improvements.
