The 964 Speedster was introduced in October 92, after having been very much awaited by fans of this iconic model of Porsche all times.
Porsche offered the car in a sleek version only, despite the success of the previous Turbo-look 3.2 Speedster.
The colors offered were limited to Indian Red, GP White, Speed Yellow, Maritime blue, Black and Silver, the first four being combined with matching wheels.
The minimalist comfort of the Speedster was underlined by its low windshield, a manually folded hood, sport seats, but also quite substantially improved thanks to its 964 basis, compared to the early 3.2 L. Power steering, Aircon, softer clutch etc…
Lighter than the 964 Cab, the 964 Speedster was similar to a 964 Coupé in terms of performances.
