The idea to make customized jewellery for motor-sport enthusiasts came while glass-artist, Sue Corfield, was reflecting on how much nice clothing there is for avid fans, yet there was absolutely nothing in the way of high-quality, customised jewellry for ladies who wanted something original to wear. In her glass-working studio, she created a necklace in the Martini colours, wanting it to be that iconic colour mix, sporty yet understated, unique. All the glass beads are made individually by hand using a technique called lampworking. The necklace is 41cms in length approximately, the hand-made beads glass beads are mounted on a 925/1000 silver chain, including silver beads and fastenings.
