The Toyota TS050 Hybrid is an LMP1 hybrid prototype developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing for the WEC. It features a 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine paired with two electric motors (one per axle) and a high-energy hybrid system, delivering a combined output of approximately 1,000 hp to all four wheels. It competed from 2016 to 2020, securing Toyota’s first Le Mans victories in 2018, 2019, and 2020—achieving a historic hat-trick.
During the 2020 race—postponed to September and held behind closed doors—the No. 8 TS050 (driven by Buemi, Nakajima, and Hartley) won the event despite issues faced by the No. 7 car. This victory marked a third consecutive win for Buemi and Nakajima, and a second for Hartley. The car was subsequently loaned to the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum, symbolizing the end of the TS050 era prior to the arrival of the Hypercars.

The 1:43 scale Spark model of the No. 8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid faithfully captures the prototype's low-slung silhouette: a pointed nose, central enclosed cockpit, sculpted front fender bodywork, and a rear section featuring a large wing and diffuser. The Toyota Gazoo Racing livery is accurately reproduced, featuring a white base, large red and black sections, Toyota/Hybrid/Denso/Michelin logos, and the number 8 on the flanks and nose.
Racing details—such as the wheels, slick tires, side mirrors, antennas, air intakes, and technical markings—are finely rendered, reflecting the high quality typical of Spark models. Through the windows, the cockpit of the closed-cockpit prototype is visible, making this miniature a fine, compact representation of the TS050 Hybrid that won at Le Mans in 2020.
