The Ferrari 328 GTS is the targa version (a "Spider" with a removable roof) of the 328—a direct evolution of the 308. Unveiled at the 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show, it featured a transverse 3.2-liter (3,185 cc) V8 engine producing approximately 270 hp at 7,000 rpm, paired with a manual transmission and the classic Ferrari gated shifter. With over 6,000 units of the GTS produced through 1989, it is often regarded as one of the last classic "analog Ferraris" (featuring a naturally aspirated engine, manual gearbox, and minimal electronic aids).
The 328 GTS became a pop-culture icon; following in the footsteps of the 308 driven by Magnum, it appeared in shows like *Dallas* and *Falcon Crest*, and most notably in *Beverly Hills Cop II*. This 1:18 scale KK Scale model of the Ferrari 328 GTS (*Beverly Hills Cop II* edition) faithfully reproduces the Pininfarina bodywork: a low nose with pop-up headlights, ribbed flanks, pronounced wheel arches, and the signature rear end with round taillights. It features a targa roof design and comes with a removable hardtop. The red paintwork and specific US-market details (bumpers, side markers, etc.) directly evoke the car from the movie.
The model is made of die-cast metal with a sealed body (non-opening doors and hood) but boasts refined details, including five-spoke wheels, realistic tires, detailed light units, Ferrari badges, and a visible interior (featuring an 80s-style dashboard, seats, and steering wheel).
