The Ferrari 328 GTS is the removable-roof variant of the 328; introduced in 1985 alongside the 328 GTB, it represents the final evolutionary stage of the transverse, naturally aspirated V8 engines derived from the 308 series. It utilizes a 3,185 cc, 90-degree V8 engine featuring 32 valves, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and Marelli MED 806 A electronic ignition, delivering approximately 270 hp at 7,000 rpm and around 304–305 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
Like the GTB, the 328 GTS retains a 5-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, offering very similar performance figures: a top speed of approximately 260–263 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of around 6 seconds, depending on the source. The main difference lies in the bodywork: the GTS features a removable (targa) roof and rear side panels with metal strakes instead of solid quarter windows, offering an open-air driving experience while preserving the iconic styling of the 308/328 series.

This 1:18 scale red Ferrari 328 GTS model by KK Scale captures the 328’s silhouette—featuring a very low hood, sculpted front fenders, and flying buttresses at the rear—while depicting the central roof panel removed, showcasing the car in open-top GTS configuration. The uniform Rosso Corsa finish highlights the clean lines of the flanks, the side air intakes, and the distinctive rear end, complete with a black rear grille and dual exhaust outlets. Although it features no opening parts, the model offers a precise rendering of the windows, light clusters, 16-inch wheels, and Ferrari logos, while showcasing the visible interior—including sports seats, a dashboard angled towards the driver, and a three-spoke steering wheel. The metal rear side panels (replacing the GTB’s rear quarter windows) are faithfully reproduced, clearly distinguishing this 328 GTS from the 328 GTB in a display case.
