The Alfa Romeo 155 GTA Stradale is a unique prototype, developed in the early 1990s to provide an ultra-sporty road-going version of the 155 sedan, following its successes in super touring and foreshadowing an Italian rival to the BMW M3 E30 and Mercedes 190E 2.5-16. Based on the all-wheel-drive 155 Q4 (platform and mechanics similar to the Lancia Delta Integrale), it features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing approximately 190 to 200 hp, suspension derived from the Integrale, a widened carbon fiber body, and a more radical, performance-oriented setup.

The project initially envisioned a small production run (fewer than 50 units), but development costs and the need for a dedicated assembly line led Alfa Romeo to cancel production, leaving the GTA Stradale as a one-off. This prototype, presented at the 1994 Bologna Motor Show and subsequently used as a medical car at the 1994 Monza Grand Prix, then circulated among a few collectors before being restored and sold at auction, becoming a highly sought-after unique piece for Alfa enthusiasts.

This 1/18 scale Ottomobile miniature reproduces the unique 1993 Alfa Romeo 155 GTA Stradale, finished in Alfa Red 130, in a resin model faithful to the brand's aesthetic. Made of resin, the model is static and without opening parts, but accurately reproduces the specific features of the GTA Stradale: widened body, redesigned front and rear bumpers, enlarged air intakes, flared fenders, and a large rear wing inspired by the racing version.

The Alfa Red finish highlights the taut lines and aerodynamic features, with specific wheels, GTA logos, and meticulous details (headlights, taillights, simplified interior visible through the windows), in keeping with Otto's display-oriented productions. Produced in a limited series and delivered fully assembled, this 1/18 scale 155 GTA Stradale is aimed at collectors of sporty Alfas, unique prototypes, and extreme touring sedans, offering a highly refined reproduction of a model that remained a dream at Alfa Romeo.
