A three-time world champion (1988, 1990, 1991) with McLaren-Honda, he racked up 41 victories and 65 pole positions, remaining forever the undisputed master of Monaco and of the rain. Particularly memorable are his heroic triumph in Brazil in 1991, where he finished with a seized gearbox, and his legendary first lap at Donington in 1993, considered the greatest lap in F1 history.
Ayrton Senna became one of TAG Heuer’s most iconic ambassadors, embodying – both on and off the track – the absolute precision and high-pressure performance that are the hallmarks of Formula 1.
