The Story – Jim Clark
Jim Clark is often considered one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history. Born in 1936 in Scotland, he spent his entire F1 career with Lotus, winning two World Championship titles in 1963 and 1965, as well as 25 Grand Prix victories in just 72 starts. A driver of exceptional skill, both fast and with remarkable fluidity of control, he also distinguished himself by winning the Indianapolis 500 in 1965, a major achievement for a European driver at the time. Tragically killed in 1968 during a Formula 2 race, Jim Clark leaves behind the image of a humble, unassuming champion of pure talent, who forever marked the DNA of Formula 1 and Lotus.
