Real Model – Ferrari 330P n° 14 – 24h Le Mans 1964

The Ferrari 330P is an endurance prototype powered by a 4.0-liter V12 engine, campaigned in the early 1960s in the Prototype 4.0 class. At the 1964 Le Mans race, Ferrari achieved a historic 1-2-3 finish: victory went to the No. 20 275 P (Vaccarella/Guichet), followed in second place by the No. 14 330 P from the British team Maranello Concessionaires (Hill/Bonnier), and in third by the factory-entered No. 19 330P (Surtees/Bandini).

Car No. 14 completed 344 laps—40 fewer than the winner—and outperformed the Ford GT40s, which were still in the development phase, thereby cementing Ferrari’s dominance in the prototype category at the time. This Maranello Concessionaires 330P has become one of the most iconic endurance Ferraris of the pre-P3/P4 era.

Miniature – Ferrari 330P n° 14 2nd 24h Le Mans 1964 1/18 Tecnomodel (TM18-309C)

This 1:18 scale Tecnomodel Mythos Ferrari 330P (2nd place, 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans) faithfully reproduces the prototype’s ultra-low bodywork: a sloping nose with a wide air intake, a glass bubble cockpit, curvaceous rear fenders, and a short tail featuring diffusers and exposed exhaust pipes. The red and blue Maranello Concessionaires livery, complete with the No. 14 on the hood and flanks, is accurately replicated, reflecting the British privateer entries fielded by the importer. Like all Mythos models, the 330P is a sealed-body resin model featuring white metal and photo-etched parts for the wheels, grilles, and fine details; it is hand-assembled and mounted on a wooden base designed to accommodate a Plexiglas display case. The proportions are faithfully reproduced—complete with recessed headlights, air intakes, racing wheels, and a visible cockpit—making it a highly refined display piece that captures the spirit of Ferrari’s 1964 Le Mans podium finish.
