Based on the Mustang Dark Horse, the Ford Mustang GT3 marks Ford's official return to GT3 endurance racing, featuring a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V8 and development by Multimatic to meet the new LMGT3 regulations. Entered in the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans by Proton Competition under the #77 chassis, the Mustang GT3 will represent the Blue Oval in a highly competitive LMGT3 category, drawing on experience already gained in the WEC and at Daytona, where the model quickly distinguished itself with its performance and muscle car character adapted to endurance racing.
