Description
This 1/43 scale model by Spark represents the Tyrrell F1 Team Transporter from the 1976 season, built on a British Leyland Leopard chassis. It was used to transport the innovative 6-wheeled P34 race cars across Europe.
Together with a furniture-style truck and a Ford Transit, this vehicle formed Tyrrell’s mobile base in the paddock. Scenes from that era show mechanics working on the Cosworth V8 engines, often with a cigarette in hand – a far cry from today's ultra-professional pit operations.
