The Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT is the GT1 racing version of the Murciélago, jointly developed by Lamborghini, Reiter Engineering, and Audi Sport to compete in FIA GT, ALMS, and other endurance championships starting in 2003. It features a rear-wheel-drive architecture (instead of the road-going all-wheel drive), a naturally aspirated V12 of approximately 6.0 liters producing around 590–600 hp and approximately 650–710 Nm of torque, a body made largely of carbon fiber, and a weight reduced to around 1,100 kg, making it a true extreme GT1 car built for the track.

The choice of resin allows for a high level of detail in the aerodynamic features, the racing interior (bucket seat, roll cage, harness), and the GT1 wheels, making it an ideal piece for a display case focused on endurance GT cars, radical V12 supercars, and Lamborghini racing cars from the 2000s.
