The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupés are undoubtedly among the icons of automotive history. These exclusive racing cars were developed by Mercedes-Benz in the 1950s and are considered masterpieces of design, engineering and racing. Named in honor of Mercedes' head of development, Rudolf Uhlenhaut, these vehicles are still synonymous with perfection, elegance and optimum performance. In total, only two examples of the 300 Coupés SLR Uhlenhaut were produced, further underlining their exclusivity and rarity. The vehicles are now highly sought-after collector's items. Mercedes auctioned a very special Gullwing in 2022 and achieved a record 135 million euros, making the 1955 Uhlenhaut Coupé 300 SLR officially by far the most expensive vehicle in automotive history. Their cultural and historical value is undeniable, as they are not only technical masterpieces but also represent an era of motor racing.

LEGRAND 1/8 has created a milestone in the 1/8 kit series with the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupés. The kit comprises over 900 parts and is made from high-quality materials such as metal, rubber, textiles and plastic. Most parts are screwed and plugged together. For very few parts, gluing with model-building glue is recommended. All doors, hoods and windows can be opened prototypically. Before assembling components, please study the drawings, follow the numbering and practice assembly. The included building instructions are complemented by building videos on YouTube. Links to the videos in the construction section can be found as GOLD code in the corresponding construction section of the instructions. Detailed ladder kit for adults. Color and contents may differ from illustration. This product is not suitable for children under 14. Keep small parts out of reach of young children. If swallowed, they may cause suffocation.
