The official No. 3 Jaguar XJR-12 from the legendary Silk Cut Jaguar team secured a resounding victory at the 1990 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driven by the elite trio of John Nielsen, Price Cobb and Martin Brundle (who came in as a replacement during the race), this formidable Group C prototype demonstrated the reliability and Herculean torque of its monumental 7.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine to secure a historic one-two finish for the feline-branded team, bringing Porsche’s reign to an end.
Produced in 1/43 scale by Ixo (ref. LM1990), this superb replica faithfully reproduces the massive, aerodynamic silhouette of the British prototype. It features the famous and elegant white and purple livery accented with gold stripes, whilst perfectly recreating the full wheel covers on the rear wheels, a technical feature characteristic of this generation of Jaguars designed to slice through the air at Les Hunaudières.
