The Peugeot 205 GT is a dynamic version of the 205 that appeared in the mid-1980s. Conceived as a more affordable alternative to the GTI, it retained the 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 80 hp, a short-ratio 5-speed gearbox, and a finely tuned chassis to offer a driving experience close to that of the sporty versions while remaining reasonable in terms of insurance and running costs. Weighing in at around 810 kg, with a top speed of 170 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of just over 11 seconds, the 205 GT helped forge the image of a "sacred number" alongside the GTI, Rallye, and XS, while remaining a lively and accessible all-rounder for a young clientele in the 1980s and 90s.

This 1/18 scale Peugeot 205 GT Graphite Grey 1993 by Ottomobile is a resin miniature, without opening parts, that faithfully reproduces one of the last 205 GTs, just before the range was simplified in 1993-94 when the GT trim level was discontinued. The Graphite Grey paint, body-colored bumpers, original wheels, and the typical interior of late-production 205s make it an ideal piece for a display case dedicated to French youngtimers, the "small GTs" of the 80s and 90s, and the various versions of the 205 beyond just the GTI.
