The Porsche 718 Spyder RS is the most extreme version of the 718 family, equipped with the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine derived from the 911 GT3, combined with a low weight and a finely tuned chassis to deliver a driving experience very close to that of a race car while remaining road-legal. It marks the pinnacle and the end of the internal combustion engine era for the 718 range, and certain very special editions, such as the "Panamericana Special," pay tribute to Porsche's achievements in the Carrera Panamericana, with unique configurations achieved through the Sonderwunsch personalization program.
