The Porsche Carrera RSR No. 67 was entered by the Porsche Club Romand in the 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans. This racing 911 featured a naturally aspirated, air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine mounted in a rear-overhang configuration. Its flared fenders, rear spoiler, racing wheels, and weight-reduction measures made it one of the most effective GT cars of its era.
Driven by the Swiss duo William Vollery and Éric Chapuis alongside Frenchman Roger Dorchy, the No. 67 car qualified in 42nd place. It retired after 225 laps—during the 19th hour—due to engine failure. Meanwhile, the Porsche Club Romand’s other RSR, the No. 66, finished 7th overall and won the GTS 3.0 class.
