On June 12, 2023, marking the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Michael Fassbender returned to the Circuit de la Sarthe behind the wheel of the No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR entered by the customer team Proton Competition. This time, the German-Irish actor shared the cockpit with Austrian factory driver Richard Lietz and Estonian driver Martin Rump, following his eventful Le Mans debut in 2022. The race marked significant progress for the actor, who—for the first time—completed a lap of the 13.626 km circuit in under four minutes, improving his best time by nearly four seconds compared to the previous year in the approximately 515 hp 911 RSR. This performance represents the culmination of the journey documented in "Road to Le Mans: The Film," which chronicles his evolution from 2018 to 2023.
