Special edition recognizable thanks to the fingerprint of the driver Gijs van Lennep present on the hood. This was applied to the hood with an innovative direct print painting process.
Its Lava Orange color is also a head-turner and a standout, referencing the days when Van Lennep made waves alongside famous riders such as Ben Pon, Rob Slotemaker, Henk van Zalinge and Carel Godin de Beaufort in Porsche for Racing Team Holland.
In addition to the full standard equipment of the 911 Carrera S, this tribute to Gijs van Lennep also includes numerous unique and exclusive extras, such as, for example, the signature of the former works driver appears on the illuminated door sills.
Legendary Dutch racing driver Gijs van Lennep is credited with winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice in 1971 with Helmut Marko and in 1976 alongside Jacky Ickx.
Emeritus driver who marked the history of motorsport by his victories but also by his participation in multiple Formula 1 Grand Prix between 1971 and 1975.
Porsche has been the common thread in the Blaricum driver's career. He drove many of the brand's illustrious racing cars, including the Carrera 6, with which Van Lennep made his international breakthrough in 1966, and the classic 911 in which he took part in numerous touring car races. At a time when motor racing was a dangerous pastime, he could be found driving the Porsche 908/02, and Van Lennep also drove the Carrera RSR Turbo and the 936. The Porsche 917 played a leading role in his career.
