Porsche has been building customized vehicles for its customers for decades through the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur service, which offers up to a thousand options.

To go further, the Sonderwunsch program, which dates back to the end of the 1970s and was restored to the taste of the day, makes it possible to create unique vehicles.

The 911 Turbo S Sonderwunsch Factory Commissioning is intended to illustrate Porsche's ability to reinterpret historical models, as part of these programs.

Based on one of the four special Porsche 959s from the late 1980s, it takes advantage of the latest production models and techniques.

This Porsche 911 Turbo S features a unique green paint - Urban Bamboo - with changing reflections. In order to this spectacular effect, Porsche uses ultra-thin Chromaflair pigments, which change the color of the car according to the direction of the light and angle of view.

Inside, Porsche's attention to detail is reflected in hand-made overlays on the dashboard and door panels, inserts on the seats, the Sonderwunsch brand on the top of the central console and the rear glasses, and even a fully leather-clothed luggage compartment.

The Chromaflair paint has been offered by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur since 2017. The application of this high-end paint is entrusted to a carefully selected specialized subcontractor. The car is completely disassembled, sent in paint, then reassembled once painted. A total of five layers of paint are applied.

The creation of a Chromaflair paint is a relatively long process, and requires a lot of skilled labor. Also production is limited to 15 Porsche per year, and the price is shown in tens of thousands of euros. Despite this high price, the order book is full, and the Porsche 911 Turbo S quickly found a buyer.

For drivers who want to stand out, the Chromaflair paintings are available as part of the Porsche Paint to Sample Plus program and are available in 5 shades: Explosive Gold, Magic Magenta, Python Green, Urban Bamboo and Shifting Carbon, all as extraordinary, rare and beautiful as each other.
