The #4 Porsche 963 boasts a very low and elongated Hypercar prototype silhouette, with a plunging nose, teardrop cockpit, and long tail, highlighted here by the white base and the large red and black panels typical of Porsche Penske. The Le Mans anniversary livery adds the colored stripes inherited from the great Porsche endurance cars (Gulf, Pink Pig, Martini, Rothmans, RS Spyder), which run from nose to tail and give the car an extremely dynamic visual presence. Entrusted to an all-professional trio of Mathieu Jaminet, Felipe Nasr, and Nick Tandy, the #4 24 Hours of Le Mans car strengthens Porsche's lineup with a third official Hypercar, aiming for a historic 20th victory at Le Mans. In a 2024 edition marked by rain, safety car periods, and fierce Hypercar competition, it played a key role in the manufacturer's overall strategy, even though its race ended prematurely after 211 laps and a retirement.
