Ruf is a tuning company specialised in Porsches, and was awarded the status of car manufacturer in 1981.
Succeeding the "Yellowbird" CTR (best known for having been the fastest touring car several years running), the CTR2 is based on the Porsche 911 (993) and is fitted with a 3.6L flat-six engine giving it 520 hp, allowing it to reach speeds of 354 km/h. Only a handful of these models were ever produced between 1995 and 1997.
