The 2024 Porsche Taycan Turbo S represents a major evolution of Porsche’s first electric sports car. This four-door sedan combines two electric motors—one on each axle—with all-wheel drive and an 800-volt electrical architecture. It comes standard with the Performance Battery Plus (offering a usable capacity of 97 kWh) and features a two-speed transmission on the rear motor.
In Launch Control mode, the Taycan Turbo S delivers up to 700 kW (952 hp) and a maximum torque of 1,110 Nm. Porsche quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 2.4 seconds, a 0–200 km/h time of 7.7 seconds, and a top speed of 260 km/h.
The 2024 facelift brings a significant power boost, fast-charging capabilities of up to 320 kW, and a maximum WLTP range of between 574 and 634 km, depending on the configuration. Despite its supercar-level performance, the Taycan retains a low, sleek silhouette, a sloping roofline, and driving dynamics designed to remain true to the Porsche identity.
