The Chronograph 1 – All Black Numbered Edition reinterprets one of the most iconic watches in automotive design with contemporary precision. Designed in the spirit of the 1972 Chronograph I created by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche—the first-ever all-black wristwatch—this chronograph combines the functional aesthetics of a 911 cockpit with high-level Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship.

Its 40.8 mm case is crafted from bead-blasted titanium—a material that is exceptionally lightweight and durable—and coated with black titanium carbide to achieve its signature matte "All Black" look and superior scratch resistance. The screw-down crown and case back ensure water resistance up to 10 bar (100 meters), while the sapphire crystal case back reveals the black-chrome PD Icon rotor of the automatic movement.

The matte black dial prioritizes instant readability, true to Porsche dashboard instruments: contrasting white indices, a precise peripheral minute track, a tachymeter scale, and understated integrated chronograph counters. Protected by a hard-coated sapphire crystal with seven-layer anti-reflective treatment on both sides, it remains perfectly legible in bright light. The bilingual day/date display—in German and English—features a quick-change function at midnight.

At the heart of the watch beats the Porsche Design WERK 01.140 manufacture caliber, a COSC-certified mechanical self-winding chronograph movement. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), features 25 jewels, and offers a 48-hour power reserve. This chronometer certification attests to precision verified against the standards of the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC).

This version stands out with its black genuine Porsche leather strap, stitched with authentic Porsche thread and inspired by the world of sports car interiors. It is complemented by a push-button folding clasp made of titanium with a black titanium carbide coating.
