This Porsche 908 LH nr 64 from the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1969, is well known because it finished second, driven by Hermann and Larousse, only 120 meters behind Ickx and its Ford GT40. We must not forget the class victory since the Flat8 3-liter engine was not in the same category as the Ford V8 5-liter.
From this Porsche 908 LH will born the Porsche 917 victorious in 1970 and 1971. The 1/43 scale Spark model is a magnificent achievement.
