The Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 #33 is a cutting-edge hybrid WRC car entered in the 2025 Monte Carlo Rally, one of the most demanding rounds of the World Rally Championship. Its second-place finish in this edition demonstrates the performance, reliability, and competitiveness of the GR Yaris Rally1 in the extreme conditions of the Principality.
It is based on the production GR Yaris but equipped for competition with: a 1.6L turbocharged direct-injection engine, a Rally1 hybrid system providing an instant power boost, all-wheel drive, and a sequential gearbox, all optimized for narrow and slippery roads.
The chassis incorporates a full roll cage, adjustable long-travel suspension, and competition brakes, while the aerodynamics (splitters, diffuser, rear wing) ensure maximum stability and traction on all types of surfaces. The driver/co-driver-oriented cockpit features FIA-approved bucket seats, 6-point harnesses, and simplified rally instrumentation for maximum efficiency on special stages.
