The Ferrari 308 GT4/LM is a racing prototype derived from the 308 GT4 (a V8 2+2 coupé); it was developed by the factory for Luigi Chinetti’s NART (North American Racing Team) to compete at Le Mans in the mid-1970s. Shedding over 200 kg and boasting around 50 hp more than the road-going GT4, it featured endurance-oriented bodywork and equipment, and underwent testing at Fiorano prior to racing.
The "1976 press version" refers to a presentation configuration (uniform red paint, with no race numbers or neutral numbering) used for photo shoots or demonstrations; while distinct from the 1974 Le Mans race livery, it originated from the same 308-based LM project.

The 1/43 scale Tecnomodel Ferrari 308 GTB4 LM Press Version captures the angular silhouette of the 308 GT4/LM: a low nose, pop-up headlights, a relatively straight roofline, and a shortened rear end featuring the large air intakes and aerodynamic elements specific to the LM version. The body is finished in uniform Ferrari red—devoid of sponsor liveries or large race numbers—staying true to the presentation car concept.
Like other Tecnomodel offerings, this is a sealed-body resin model featuring finely detailed wheels, grilles, light clusters, and air vents, all hand-assembled and mounted on a display base. Its proportions and details offer a superb representation of a somewhat obscure Ferrari LM project—less famous than the 512 BB LM or 365 GTB/4 Competizione, yet highly appealing to collectors.
