The Matra MS670 No. 15 went down in history by securing the French manufacturer’s first ever victory at the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driven by the brilliant duo of Henri Pescarolo and the British driver Graham Hill, this legendary open-wheel car, powered by the melodious 3.0-litre Matra V12 engine, dominated the race, enabling Graham Hill to become the only driver in history to win motor racing’s prestigious ‘Triple Crown’.
Produced in 1/43 scale by Ixo (ref. LM1972), this historic replica celebrates this seminal victory with its regulation “Matra Blue” livery, contrasted by its bright yellow roof vent. The model faithfully reproduces the clean, aerodynamic lines of the prototype, its detailed open cockpit, and the distinctive rear wing that guided the car to this historic triumph.
