The Ferrari 308 GT4/LM is a unique prototype derived from the road-going Dino 308 GT4. It was developed in 1974 by the factory for Luigi Chinetti and his North American Racing Team (NART) to promote the new GT4 on the international stage. Based on chassis 08020, the car underwent extensive modifications: significant bodywork weight reduction (steel panels replaced by aluminum/fiberglass, Plexiglas windows), a lightened chassis, competition-grade suspension and brakes, a large rear wing and aerodynamic add-ons, plus a V8 engine tuned to nearly 300 hp (up from approximately 240 hp in the road version).
Unveiled in late spring 1974, the 308 GT4 LM was entered in the 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans (No. 18, in the red/white BP/NART livery). It qualified 38th but retired after about 4 hours and 30 laps due to clutch failure. Having been tested beforehand at Fiorano in a presentation configuration (red/white, without final race numbers), it was quickly nicknamed "Dinotto" by the Italian press before becoming a historical curiosity certified by Ferrari Classiche.

This 1:43 scale model of the 1974 Ferrari 308 GT4 LM No. 0 (Press Version) captures the highly angular silhouette of the 308 GT4 as modified for endurance racing: a low nose with a front spoiler, heavily flared fenders, a straight roofline, and a rear end featuring a large "whale tail" spoiler, air intakes, and distinctive cutouts. The glossy red livery is accented with white sections and bears the number 0 instead of a racing number—a way of designating a presentation or test car rather than an official race entry.
This resin model replicates the racing wheels, tires, light units, markings, and details (such as filler caps, grilles, and extractors) while remaining less visually "busy" than a Le Mans version featuring full sponsor livery. On display, this press version perfectly complements the 1974 No. 18 and 1975 No. 17 models, illustrating the complete Fiorano–presentation–Le Mans cycle of this unique Ferrari GT4 LM.
