In 1981, at the request of some customers, Porsche produced 911 immediately recognizable by their flattened bonnet (nicknamed "Flachbau", "Flat-Nose" or "Slant-Nose") incorporating the headlights, directly inspired by the Porsche 935. The side vents are specific and its power is increased to 330 hp, 30 more than a standard 911 Turbo. As early as 1986, this modification became officially available in the Porsche catalog. However, it will be marketed less than 1000 copies, because of a price almost twice as high as a standard 911 Turbo.
