The series features two American policemen, David ‘Dave’ Starsky, who grew up in New York and is a bit naive and outgoing. And Kenneth ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson, who is calmer and more thoughtful. Although they are opposites, they are very close, almost like brothers. Accompanied by their friend Huggy Bear, they solve criminal cases in often muscular and unorthodox ways, under the supervision of their captain, Dobey. A series from the 70s, it combines action and humour.
The duo, nicknamed ‘Zebra 3’, are known for their spectacular car chases in Starsky's famous Ford Gran Torino. Starsky is particularly attached to his car, a red Ford Gran Torino with a white stripe, which he uses for his investigations. A charmer by nature, it's a real tool of seduction for him.
